Here's some photos from the trip so far, comprising weird advertising, beautiful landscapes, our on-site toilet, a slightly dodgy drawing of a skeleton and a picture of one of the other archaeologists and myself (which I actually stole from her, thanks Mel!).

ReplyDeleteIn descending order: that Chicken Tikka moist towel is quite possibly my favourite thing ever, why would a towel be spicy?! I have white shirt envy and your friend has perfect hair and I wonder how that is possible in a dig camp? Your skeleton is lovely and perfectly skeleton like. The dig toilet makes me laugh and appreciate the Dakhleh one where you could sit and peacefully contemplate the countryside as long as you timed it so that that guy and his donkey weren't coming a'visiting. Amarna looks suspiciously like bits of Queensland, except with more sand hills and that Titanic tuk tuk is my second favourite thing ever. Keep taking photos!
